Jeremy, the 30 year old real estate attorney, may have appeared 'perfect' in every way, but DeAnna Pappas clearly understood that sometimes 'perfect' is not all it's cracked up to be. The connection between DeAnna and Jeremy was based on the fact that they'd both lost parents. "Unless they'd gone through it, no one could understand what it's like." This rather naive binding in their relationship was clearly not enough for DeAnna, however. Jeremy's rather austere approach to a relationship left out room for fun - and for love. Jeremy took it well, however the fact that it clearly hit him hard.

So DeAnna now has two men to choose from. While in appearance they may seem very different, both bring to the relationship a sense of warmth, fun, and romance.

31-year-old Jason, an account executive, has one very important person in his life already. Three-year-old son, Tyson, is a built-in family should DeAnna choose Jason. This would likely scare away many women, but DeAnna, able to see past the idea that she'd have a step-son immediately, clearly adores little Tyson. What may scare many women, may be the actual clincher for DeAnna. The relationship between Jason and DeAnna has grown over each time they've spent together. It was Jason who first put DeAnna at ease so that she could talk about her mother.

Jesse, on the other hand, is a 26-year-old snowboarding professional. This blast into a completely different world clearly entices DeAnna. While Jesse has seemed a little boy for a good part of the season, he's picked it up over the last two episodes. His early discussions with DeAnna were to inform her that he wanted to be her friend before moving the relationship on. Jesse believes that friendship is the basis for a sound relationship. Wise thoughts. DeAnna has grown closer and more comfortable with Jesse from the beginning. Shocking many of the other men in the house, Jesse continued on in DeAnna's hunt for a husband.

So who will it be? Jason or Jesse. DeAnna entices the audience with three little sentences: "I'm very happy. I'm in love. And I'm engaged."

I'm glad Jeremy was eliminated. Although I feel badly for him and his circumstances, he will not truly be happy until he can move on from his mother's death. Until that happens, he will not be a good boyfriend or husband.

I think DeAnna will choose Jason. He's the total package.

I do find it odd that Jesse told DeAnna that he is ready to marry quickly after telling his father that he wasn't. He also asked DeAnna how many children she wanted and how soon. When she told him she wanted 3 children by the age of 30, Jesse agreed that he also wanted to be a young father. Wha? I think Jesse is just telling DeAnna what she wants to hear.

I hope that DeAnna is happy with the choice she made, and that her relationship will work. From what I understand, the Men Tell All episode was filmed just a few short weeks ago, so since she was still engaged as of that time, hopefully all her dreams will come true.

Picking up what on Jesse's about-turn, I have to agree that it struck me as very odd. Jesse clearly told his father that there was no way that he'd get married so quickly. He strikes me as someone whose simply trying to 'win' at this point.

I also really agree that Jason is the full package. Hell, I'd choose him in a flash! wink
